en la retina, hasta que te la dilatas con algo.

THE HEART IS DECEITFUL ABOVE ALL THINGS

Una película que me quedé con ganas de ver, olvidada en los videoclubs y de mi parte negada a descargar.
Dirigida y protagonizada por Asia Argento.
(Tan comestible ella en la adaptación que hizo Ferrara
del cuento de William Gibson, New Rose Hotel)
Basada en un libro (e historia real) de JT Leroy.
Un Androgino que salió a la luz literaria a los 16 años
publicando sin despojos su infancia turbulenta en papel.

Nunca mostró la cara en ningún reportaje, siendo el enfant terrible yanki.
Un par de meses después de terminar de rodarse la película (y 10 años después de haberse convertido en celebridad nacional. (1996-2006)) con actuaciones también de Marilyn Manson & Winona Rider, se supo que el precoz literato nunca existió.

Les tiro un wikipredio porque la vuelta merece la ventana de más.

Mudcrutch - Lover of the Bayou

El siempre interesante Tom Petty volvió a formar la banda en la que tocaba el bajo a los 17 (hablamos de 1970), aunque nunca llegaron a editar disco con ese nombre: en el '76 sacaron "Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers", ya con el ex niño prodigio en guitarra y voz.

Por suerte se reformaron y sacaron el que a mi entender fue uno de los mejores discos del año pasado, "Mudcrutch" (evidentemente no son de matarse demasiado con los títulos).

Ya que estoy, desde este foro le exijo a José Telefónica que se ponga la pilas de inmediato y me devuelva no sólo el teléfono de mi casa sino también la banda ancha que me debe su sobrino Speedy.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Ain't No Easy Way

Después de haber sido castigados por la mayor parte de la prensa especializada, que los acusaba de ser unos Jesus and Mary Chain wannabes, los Black Rebel Motorcycle Club les pintaron la cara a todos con "Howl", un disco de americana al 100%.
Acá, el cantante y guitarrista Peter Hayes se las arregla para cumplir el compromiso con la Rolling sin el resto de la banda (el bajista/guitarrista/cantante Robert Levon Been y el baterista Nick Jago, luego expulsado tras su nonagésimo envío a rehabilitación).
